HubSpot Marketing Hub Pricing Explained (2026)

HubSpot Marketing Hub pricing in 2026: Free, Starter, Professional, Enterprise list prices, send multipliers, onboarding, and when each tier fits.

HubSpot Marketing Hub has four tiers: Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. Free is $0/month for up to 2 users, with 2,000 email sends per calendar month and HubSpot branding. Starter is the first paid step—often shown at a limited-time promo of $7/month per seat (annual) or $10/month per seat (monthly) versus a regular $20/month per seat. Professional jumps to $800/month billed annually ($890 monthly) plus a required $3,000 onboarding fee. Enterprise starts at $3,600/month plus $7,000 onboarding.

This guide is the full tier-by-tier Marketing Hub pricing breakdown: list prices, marketing contacts, email send multipliers, seats, onboarding, and when each tier makes sense compared with newsletter-first tools like Kit and beehiiv. Prices are in USD from HubSpot’s Marketing Hub pricing page as it appeared on October 4, 2026. HubSpot updates pricing and promos often, so confirm on that page before you buy.

Free: $0 with a hard send cap

Marketing Hub Free (listed as Free tools on the pricing page):

  • $0/month, free for up to 2 users, no credit card required
  • Access to HubSpot’s broader free toolset (the Free plan card lists free Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data, and Revenue tools)
  • Email marketing: 2,000 email sends per calendar month, with HubSpot branding (feature comparison table)
  • Email automation: 1 automated action — enough for a very simple trigger, not a multi-step welcome series
  • Not on Free for email: removing HubSpot branding, high send volume, or multi-step automations beyond that single action

When Free is enough: you’re testing HubSpot’s CRM and forms, you send occasional marketing email (not a high-frequency newsletter to a large list), and you can live with HubSpot branding and the 2,000-send/month ceiling.

For newsletter writers who mainly care about Free limits, our HubSpot free email marketing article goes deeper on when that cap forces an upgrade.

Starter: per-seat promo pricing

Marketing Hub Starter is the first paid step. On October 4, 2026, HubSpot still showed a limited-time “Save up to 65% on Starter” banner: special Starter pricing for new customers only, “select offers available for a limited time.”

Plan card (promo vs regular):

  • $7/month per seat when you Pay Annually, or $10/month per seat when you Pay Monthly
  • Regular price listed as $20/month per seat
  • 1,000 marketing contacts included (FAQ: you can buy more; you cannot downgrade the contact tier until renewal)
  • 500 HubSpot Credits
  • Remove HubSpot branding from email marketing and live chat
  • Simple marketing automation (comparison table: up to 10 automated actions)
  • Monthly email sends at 5× your marketing contact tier (FAQ). At the included 1,000 contacts, that is 5,000 sends/month
  • No required onboarding (Inbound Consulting is optional for an additional fee, per the FAQ)
  • Priced per seat, not as a flat team fee (FAQ: “Marketing Hub Starter is priced per seat”)

When Starter makes sense: you already want HubSpot’s CRM, you need branding removed or more than 2,000 sends/month, and a few simple automations are enough. Multiply the per-seat price by how many people need Marketing Hub access.

Professional: team marketing price + onboarding

Marketing Hub Professional is where HubSpot becomes a full marketing-team product:

  • $800/month billed annually, or $890/month paid monthly
  • Includes 3 Core Seats (additional seats from $45/mo annual / $50/mo monthly)
  • 2,000 marketing contacts included; 3,000 HubSpot Credits
  • Email sends at 10× the marketing contact tier per calendar month (FAQ)—20,000 sends/month at the included 2,000 contacts
  • Feature card highlights (on top of Starter): Marketing studio, AEO, Content Agent, Nurture Agent (several marked BETA), social media, video creation & editing
  • Comparison table: unlimited actions, plus omni-channel marketing automation
  • Required one-time Professional Onboarding for $3,000 (plan card footnote; FAQ says Professional and Enterprise are automatically charged for onboarding)

When Professional makes sense: you have a marketing team running omni-channel campaigns, reporting, and CRM-tied automation—and you’ve budgeted for onboarding. For a newsletter-only creator, $800/month + $3,000 onboarding is usually a different product category than Kit Creator or beehiiv Lite/Pro at the same list size.

Enterprise: scale, governance, and a larger onboarding fee

Marketing Hub Enterprise starts at:

  • $3,600/month
  • Includes 5 Core Seats (additional seats from $75/mo)
  • 10,000 marketing contacts included; 5,000 HubSpot Credits
  • Email sends at 20× the marketing contact tier per calendar month (FAQ)—200,000 sends/month at the included 10,000 contacts
  • Adds (per plan card): multi-touch revenue attribution, Lookalike Segments (BETA), customer journey analytics, email approvals, limit access to content and data, behavioral event triggers and reporting
  • Required one-time Enterprise Onboarding for $7,000

When Enterprise makes sense: large marketing orgs that need governance, attribution, and advanced journey tooling—not a solo newsletter stack.

Marketing contacts, email sends, and seats

These three rules drive real cost more than the headline plan price.

Marketing contacts

HubSpot’s FAQ distinguishes marketing contacts (count toward your paid tier; can receive marketing emails and ads) from non-marketing contacts (stored in the CRM for free, up to 15 million overall contacts, but cannot be targeted with marketing emails or ads). Paid Marketing Hub editions include contacts at no extra cost:

EditionIncluded marketing contacts
Starter1,000
Professional2,000
Enterprise10,000

You can purchase additional marketing contacts. Once you select a contact tier, you cannot downgrade until your contract renews. Individual contacts can flip between marketing and non-marketing status (updated monthly).

Email send multipliers

PlanMonthly send limit
Free2,000 sends/calendar month (with HubSpot branding)
Starter5× marketing contact tier
Professional10× marketing contact tier
Enterprise20× marketing contact tier

Need more? HubSpot’s FAQ says you can buy more marketing contacts or the Dedicated IP Add-On for unlimited email sends.

Seats

  • Free: up to 2 users
  • Starter: priced per seat
  • Professional: 3 Core Seats included
  • Enterprise: 5 Core Seats included
  • FAQ: Core Seat price follows the highest product edition on the account; View-only Seats are available at no additional cost

Onboarding fees (easy to miss)

PlanOnboarding
FreeNone
StarterNot required; Inbound Consulting optional for an extra fee
ProfessionalRequired one-time $3,000 (automatic charge per FAQ)
EnterpriseRequired one-time $7,000 (automatic charge per FAQ)

Year-one Professional cost at list rates is not just 12 × $800. Add the $3,000 onboarding fee when you compare against newsletter platforms that don’t charge setup fees.

When each HubSpot tier makes sense vs Kit and beehiiv

HubSpot is a CRM and marketing platform. Kit and beehiiv are newsletter / creator email tools. Use HubSpot when the CRM is the job; use Kit or beehiiv when the newsletter is the product.

Quick comparison from official pricing pages (HubSpot checked October 4, 2026; Kit and beehiiv figures from our recent AudienceBench captures—confirm on their pages for your list size):

NeedBetter documented fit
Free list growth with a high subscriber ceiling and no send multiplierKit Free (up to 10,000 subscribers; Kit FAQ: no sending limits) or beehiiv Free (up to 2,500 subscribers; unlimited sends on all plans per beehiiv FAQ) — both beat HubSpot Free’s 2,000 sends/month for a growing newsletter
Remove branding + light automation on a small HubSpot budgetHubSpot Starter (promo $7–$10/seat) if you already want HubSpot; otherwise Kit Creator / beehiiv Lite are the newsletter-native paid plans
Paid newsletter / subscriptions with low platform takeKit or beehiiv (subscription features on their pricing pages); Marketing Hub pricing doesn’t position HubSpot as a paid-publication host
CRM + forms + sales pipeline + marketing email in one placeHubSpot Free or Starter to start; Professional when the team needs omni-channel automation
Omni-channel campaigns, attribution, governanceHubSpot Professional or Enterprise — and budget for onboarding

At ~1,000 subscribers, newsletter-first paid entry points look very different from HubSpot Professional: Kit Creator from about $39/mo monthly (or $33/mo yearly) on Kit’s pricing page; beehiiv Lite about $59/mo monthly / $49/mo yearly on beehiiv’s pricing page (plan names Free / Lite / Pro as of our October 2026 checks). Full tier tables: Kit pricing explained and beehiiv pricing explained. Head-to-heads: HubSpot vs Kit and HubSpot vs beehiiv.

Our recommendation

Based on HubSpot’s documented Marketing Hub pricing:

  • Start on Free if you want HubSpot’s CRM and light branded email under 2,000 sends/month.
  • Upgrade to Starter when you need no HubSpot branding, more than 2,000 sends/month, or more than one automated action—and confirm the promo banner still applies if you’re a new customer (it’s limited-time).
  • Don’t buy Professional for a newsletter alone. At $800/month + $3,000 onboarding, it’s built for marketing teams. Newsletter writers are usually better served by Kit or beehiiv until HubSpot’s CRM is a real requirement.
  • Choose Enterprise only when you need its governance and attribution features at org scale—and you’ve planned for the $7,000 onboarding fee.
  • Skip HubSpot for paid newsletters if charging readers is the main goal; pick a platform that lists subscription billing on its pricing page.

How many emails can I send on each plan?

Free: 2,000/calendar month. Paid plans use multipliers of your marketing contact tier: Starter 5×, Professional 10×, Enterprise 20× per calendar month (FAQ).

How many marketing contacts are included?

Starter 1,000, Professional 2,000, Enterprise 10,000. You can buy more; you can’t downgrade the tier until renewal.

Does Professional require onboarding?

Yes. The plan card lists a required one-time $3,000 Professional Onboarding fee. HubSpot’s FAQ says Professional and Enterprise are automatically charged for onboarding; Starter does not require it.

Yes. The FAQ states Marketing Hub Starter is priced per seat. Professional includes 3 Core Seats; Enterprise includes 5.
